News from the Pro:

Tee times and rates in effect, are as follows:

o Starting tee times at MV, TP and SBR are 7:00 AM;

o Twilight rates begin at 12:00 noon at MV and TP; 11:00 AM at SBR.

o Current rates are as follows. They are due to change again on May 15.

 TP : $45 in AM, $25 in PM

 MV: $39 in AM, $21 in PM

 SBR: $34 in AM, $26 in PM

 9-hole rates are same as PM rates

Pro Shops close at 4:00 PM at MV and TP; 1:00 PM at SBR.

Pro Shops open 30 min. prior to first tee time, and 60 min. prior to AM shotguns.

Driving ranges close at 3:00 PM on Wednesdays and Sundays at TP. Tokens will not be sold after 2:00 PM, and the ball machines are turned off at 2:30 PM. MV range closes only on Sundays and in accordance with the above schedule.

Mike’s and Phil’s “FREE” golf clinics continue on Thursdays at MV, and because of warmer weather are now held from 9:00 to 10:00AM. Chipping will be featured on May 8. When signing up please include your phone number.

Please note that there will not be a golf clinic on May 15. Clinics resume May 22.

Cart rentals are now available for an annual fee of $250.00. See your Pro Shop for further information.

News from the Greens:

The scheduled re-work of bunkers to be completed this summer at MV, include:

Making the right green-side bunker on Hole #5 smaller by adding 10 ft. of grass to the back side, and 5 ft. of grass to the right side;

Removing sand from the first, left green-side bunker on Hole #9 and lining it with grass;

Lining the right green-side bunker on Hole #9 with grass, while keeping the same elevation of the bunker lip adjoining the green.

Removing sand from the first, left green-side bunker on Hole #13, and lining it with grass.

BEWARE!!! Bees (African) are swarming on the golf courses. There is a large hive half way down the fairway, on the left side of Hole #15 at MV. A sign is posted, so when hitting the ball in the vicinity of the tree, take caution to not disturb them.
